This post is more about events.
This is probably the last time I will highlight them.
I have found that the SL search engine is not very good
at finding events and really I had a friend who
taught me who was who and where to find things in SL.
There is a website for events, although it is far from complete,
you can find hot designers and subscribe with them.
I realize that groups are limited and you have to pick and choose what
you are involved with in SL.
Subscribing is a way to get notices about
whats new with each designer without
having to use a group spot.
So the best place to find some of the hottest events is through Seraphim
I really am not sure why other events do not use this amazing site.
I know me and my friends frequent the site and
you are able to preshop before hitting the laggy event.
I wish that you could just buy off that page,
like marketplace, then I could skip those laggy events
altogether.
Until then....the best way to prevent yourself and others from
lagging at the event is to get a whole body alpha,
remove your huds, (heaven knows we are all getting hudded out)
and then bam...lag free for everyone.
Relay for Life of Second Life announces the first mega event of the 2017 Season, Fashion For Life 2017. The event will take place on March 5th, 2017 and run until midnight on March 19th, 2017. As always 100% of proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
The goal of the event is to provide an incredible shopping and entertainment experience featuring unique items, runway shows. Lend your support to Relay For Life, the largest and longest charity in Second Life.
Some of the past themes have been Heaven/Hell (2007), St. Patrick's Day (2008), Pirates (2009), Fashion Capitols of the World (2010), Beyond Black and White (2011), It's time (2012), The Seven Ancient Wonders of the World (2013), Wanderlust (2014), Tour through the Capitals (2015), and last years theme That's Entertainment! (2016).
This years theme is... Glamorous.
Styles will range from formal to bohemian in a beautiful high fashion glamorous sim.

I think all tales are started somewhere and then over the years they
