.PENUMBRA. releases the full schedule for their sixth bi-annual fashion week, where they celebrate the fantastic trends of the autumn and winter seasons! Join .PENUMBRA. as they take to the runway in 18 extraordinary shows, featuring the content creation of over 40 of Second Life's most innovative designers in over 300 amazing outfits!

Breast cancer is one of the leading health crises for women. 1 in 8 women, and an every increasing percentage of men will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. There is currently no known cure for breast cancer, and its early diagnosis is critical to survival.
Models Giving Back is pleased to present Rock Your Rack, an annual fundraising event combining the best of SL Music and Fashion to support the work of breast cancer charities and raise awareness for early detection which is critical to a positive outcome for this devastating disease.
This year's 4th annual event will support the National Breast Cancer Foundation providing mammograms, education, support and early detection services to anyone in need.
The 2016 Event is all together on one sim and involves 63 designers including 9 Gold sponsors: AlaFolie, Athena Couture, Dulce Secrets, Emerald Couture, Empyrean Forge, LaVian & Co, phedora, Prism and Kultivate Magazine. Along with these designers, 14 DJ's, 11 Live Musicians, 22 2D/3D artists, and 22 models will participate in the two week long event.
Events during the fundraiser include 9 fashion shows, 11 live musical concerts, 12 DJ dance parties, a 10L Hunt, Two Silent Auction areas, an Art Exhibit organized by Kultivate magazine, Art Auction and 7Seas Fishing Tournaments. Designers will be providing exclusive creations with 100% of the sales of those items going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation along with a fine selection of the newest and most popular designs donating a percentage as well.
This year's event officially opens to the public on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 12:00am SLT and will close at 11:59pm SLT on Sunday, October 16, 2016.

About Models Giving Back
Models Giving Back is an agency of professional, certified SecondLife models who give of their time and talents to raise funds for legitimate and verified SL and RL charities.
Models Giving Back was founded in October of 2012 by Jamee Sandalwood after a previous agency dedicated to charity work was forced to close due to the owner leaving SecondLife. Jamee felt the work that was being done needed to be continued and set out to lead the models that were already a part of the former agency into new and bigger endeavors at the newly created Models Giving Back.
To date the agency has partnered with dozens of designers and provided models for runway, print and other functions that support charities around SL.
Rock Your Rack is the creation of Jamee Sandalwood and is owned exclusively by Models Giving Back in SecondLife.
The National Breast Cancer Foundation was founded in 1991 by breast cancer survivor, Janelle Hail. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1980 at the age of 34. At the time of her diagnosis, there was little information about the disease, and she was forced to make a decision about her health with few options. After her treatment, Janelle made a commitment to help women around the world by educating them about breast cancer and the importance of early detection. NBCF’s mission is to save lives through early detection and to provide mammograms for those in need. This mission includes increasing awareness through education, providing diagnostic breast care services for those in need, and providing nurturing support services.
In the uneasy world that we live in, it's easy to get
caught up in the hate.
When I was growing up my mom taught me that
if someone has issues with you,
no matter what the issue is,
you kill them with kindness.
It worked every time.
I worked with a lady that was talked about
as being the nastiest person that anyone
had ever met.
She was miserable to work with and made everyone
else as miserable as she was.
Never was she asked to take break with anyone or
to join anyone for lunch.
I found out what her favorite chocolate was
and I would leave her chocolates anonymously.
You could tell when she got one because she would smile and
be kind that whole day.
She never knew it was me leaving the candies,
but just in the change of her attitude it was well worth the
dollar it took to buy the candy.

You are beautiful,
inside, outside, there is beauty in every one of us.
The thing is, we let others tell us that there is something
wrong with us.
When we are born we are invincible, at least in our minds.
We start learning when our parents tell us we can't do something, we are too little.
Gradually we are taught we are not good enough, we are not pretty enough, we are not
whole.
But we are all whole and beautiful in our own right.
So when someone says you are not or that you can't do something,
don't you listen.
Someone who truly loves you will know you are
beautiful, you are capable, you are
uniquely you!
We have all heard it before, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
If you look back on the things you have been through in life
you realize that we all have been through hard things.
At the time you can feel like it's the end of your world.
But looking back you realize you got through it and you are
stronger for it.
When you meet someone who is truly strong and an inspiration,
I can guarentee that they have been through some really
tough times.
Sometimes you don't think you have what it takes to get through something at
the time, but after it's all over you realize you did.
You may not ever wanna do some of those things again,
but look how strong you have become.
I am a jazz lover and one of the most favorite places that I have
visited in RL would be Nashville.
I got kissed by a stranger in a night club listening to incredible jazz
music on a weekend away.
So here's to all that jazz...

Always seems like I am loving someone who is too far away to hold.
So when they are not near, it seems like I end up prayin, when I am
lonely...Dear God, please hold them while I am so far away.
Please make sure they feel loved and make sure they know I love them.
You pray they know that your heart is with them and that they don't stray
too far from you while you are away.
