I think one of the funnest things in life is to get all dressed
up for an amazing event.
The rich feel of a silk gown against your skin,
the smell of pretty makeup and perfume...
slipping on expensive heels.
Nothing like it in the world!!

Steampunk is what happens when goth's find brown!!
I love the steampunk fashions, they are so much fun.
Not sure that was what the designer had in mind when she
made this outfit, but it fits so well.
If you have not discovered Anastasia Designs yet,
head on over and take a look.
You won't be disappointed.
My youngest daughter is also in love with the ocean.
She spent time in the Carribean learning how to scuba
dive and to study Oceanography.
I wish I could go live on a boat and have nothing better
to do than to learn how to swim with the fishes.
The ocean is calling my name....
Another photo just because this month.
I love fantasy, my inventory is full of fantasy wear
and I never get a chance to use them.
In my RL I am having some challenges and needed to remind myself
of the warrior woman inside of me.
For all the woman friends that I have that are also struggling...
remember you are beautiful,
you are worthy,
you are amazing,
and you too are a warrior!
I am a sucker for gachas, especially if they have yummy and adorable
stuff.
But...it is easy to get carried away and pull too many times for that
wanted item.
So, I have had to pull in the reigns, work out a plan of action before going
to a support group.
Heaven knows I am already enrolled in too many of those, lol.
So here is what I have limited myself to....
and my wallet thanks me!
So, when I find something that I just can't go without...
I first, have a little talk with myself to determine if I really, really need
the item.
Then I have to decide if the rare or ultra rare is something I really
need or just can't do without.
So, if I wanna chance getting a rare, but it isn't something
I just can't do without...cuz I gotta be like all the pretty girls!
I will give myself 4 pulls.
If I get a rare, bonus, if not I have to be willing to walk away.
Then I go to marketplace or hit up some gacha yards and get the
items for half to 75 percent off beause there
are soooo many other people who can't stop pulling.
Sometime I can score the whole outfit for under 200L.
Now if I just can't go without that rare item,
sometimes it is still in my best interest to get it off marketplace.
I know I will end up pulling too many times
and it may cost me more, however I won't have anything to
sell to recoop my losses.
So if I can find it for a decent place listed, I just get it there.
If it isn't an option or people are cray cray on MP and thing
I will spend 4000L for something...(they gotta be out of their minds)
Then I limit my pulls for the rare.
Trust me, I have had machines that I pull over 40 times and never got a rare.
So, hope the designers enjoyed my linden lovings cuz it isn't gonna happen
again.
So, I limit myself to 10 pulls.
Sometimes you just gotta walk away...
and fagetaboutit!
Hope you find gachas as enjoyable as I do!!
Just be smart about them and save yourself some lindens!!

About Models Giving Back
Models Giving Back is an agency of professional, certified SecondLife models who give of their time and talents to raise funds for legitimate and verified SL and RL charities.
Models Giving Back was founded in October of 2012 by Jamee Sandalwood after a previous agency dedicated to charity work was forced to close due to the owner leaving SecondLife. Jamee felt the work that was being done needed to be continued and set out to lead the models that were already a part of the former agency into new and bigger endeavors at the newly created Models Giving Back.
To date the agency has partnered with dozens of designers and provided models for runway, print and other functions that support charities around SL.
Rock Your Rack is the creation of Jamee Sandalwood and is owned exclusively by Models Giving Back in SecondLife.
The National Breast Cancer Foundation was founded in 1991 by breast cancer survivor, Janelle Hail. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1980 at the age of 34. At the time of her diagnosis, there was little information about the disease, and she was forced to make a decision about her health with few options. After her treatment, Janelle made a commitment to help women around the world by educating them about breast cancer and the importance of early detection. NBCF’s mission is to save lives through early detection and to provide mammograms for those in need. This mission includes increasing awareness through education, providing diagnostic breast care services for those in need, and providing nurturing support services.
I think we all feel invincible when we are younger.
I know I did, it seemed like no matter what
bone I broke, what accident I found myself in,
I was able to rehab, overcome and move on to
do more of the crazy stuff I was into.
It wasn't until I had a life altering accident that
I realized that the body has limitations
and not all things can be overcome.
Don't get me wrong, I still try to overcome
those things, but I realize that some damage can never be undone.
Treat your body with respect, realize you have limitations
and that not everything can be overcome...
just like love cannot conquer all...
