So I am a massage therapist in RL. 

I have been too sick to practice the art though. 

I miss the days of calm relaxation of massaging someone. 

It always seemed to do me as much good as it did 

the client. 

Somedays you just need to drift away...

have someone touch you and feel relief. 

It is too bad that touching is so frowned upon. 

Even more sad that touch has to be sexual in nature

and people don't touch each other anymore. 

There is so much kindness in a simple touch. 

So much caring and healing.

One of my favorite performers is Lorena Makennitt.
I saw her perform at a small concert up on the University campus.
She is incredible. Her voice is that of an angel
and the way she plays the cello is amazing.
I use her music to massage, as I am a massage therapist in rl.

The Fashion For Life committee is proud to announce the dates for Second Life's 10th Annual Clothing Fair benefiting Relay For Life of Second Life. This event has become a mainstay of the fashion community and  we are excited to continue the tradition with a special 10th anniversary event. The event will open its doors on March 6th 2016 and run for 14 days, closing at 6pm SLT on March 20th.

This event began as a dream 10 years ago with 34 designers participating all with a special reason to fund raise for Relay For Life. Since that date, it has grown to over 180 Designers covering 10 sims and has raised close to 20 million Linden Dollars for Relay For Life and the American Cancer Society .  To celebrate this Special Event and Milestone, Amethyst Starostin and Nevar Lobo, the founders of the Clothing Fair in 2006, have returned to plan this amazing event.

This year is going to be a trip back in time and Celebrate the history of the Clothing Fair (Fashion for Life). Prepare to be immersed in 10 of the greatest sims built by some of Second Life's most talented builders. What is the Theme you ask ? Well its :  " THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT"

We are looking forward to presenting 14 days of shopping from some of the most dedicated designers here in Second Life.  Each one is committed to raising as much money for Relay for Life of Second Life and the American Cancer Society as possible.

This year we are again inviting the Live Musicians and DJ's of Second Life to join us. T1 Radio will be covering 24/ 7 through out the fair , fund raising and letting us all know just what can be found through out the 10 sims. 

But that is not all:

With over 150 designers, we will also offer One of A Kind Auctions, Fashion Shows, Treasure Hunt, and a Photo Contest. Also, the fabulous Elysium Cabaret Dance troupe will be there to perform not one but two shows during the event.

where do fairy tales really come from?
I believe that all things have a little truth in them.
Werewolves are based off the disease called

Hypertrichosis that causes excessive hair growth. 

According to stories, Vampires originated from 

a tale of a orphanage that the owner killed the orphans to bathe in their

blood to cause a younger youthful look. 

I think all tales are started somewhere and then over the years they 

grow into something different. 

Even today, the stories get turned into something different 

and we grow up thinking the tale was something that is far different than the 

original.

I think we all have habits that sometimes need to be broken. 

It could be something like drugs, alcohol, or even something as 

simple as love or food.

Not that there is anything simple about any of those..

but we all have our vices. 

The trick is to find balance and not let anything control your actions. 

I know, easier said then done. 

But when you find yourself suffering...it's time to break the habit!
